The MPCP is a spirited conversation between two Army vets joined by guests from the entertainment& defense industries, and from the audience as well. In each episode we examine famous, infamous, and obscure portrayals of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps, and the militaries of other countries. We discuss how these portrayals shape our understanding and memories of major conflicts and wars throughout history from Ancient times to the American Revolution and Civil War, the World Wars, the Korean& Vietnam Wars, and the wars in Iraq& Afghanistan. Every episode features meditations on history, leadership, ethics, and a range of other topics. Tune in for discussions of all the classic movies and TV shows that deal with the military, and for our take on whether Hollywood"gets it right". Note: Although we keep our commentary clean, there may be occasional clips of movie or cable TV dialogue that contain profanity. Episodes are published twice each month.
